The Business Advisory Group will host “Managing Disability Claims and Medical Leave: A legal and practical seminar for the small business owner and human resources professional” on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 8:00 – 10:00 am. The speakers will be Ethan O’Shea, Esq., chair of the Employment Law Group at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, and Eileen Clark, Vice President, HR Client Services, Proxus HR. This informative breakfast seminar will educate attendees on the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the interplay between the ADA and other federal and state laws pertaining to medical leave and disability claims. The speakers will also offer practical tips and guidance to assist businesses in managing such claims and help them avoid potential liability.
